This month marks 5 years since I filed the LLC paperwork to launch Adapting Leaders. Time flies!

What are some of the bigger lessons learned in growing my business?

1. Don't avoid difficult truths, conversations, or actions.
2. Don't wait for business to find you - take the first step.
3. Self-rejection might spare you from the sting, but it doesn't bring business in the door.
4. Compliments don't pay your bills.
5. Technology doesn't substitute for conversations and networking.
