Unpaid Endorsement: The Nicholas Gregoriades Podcast

Rarely do people declare themselves good at resolving conflict. If you meet people who declare they are, check for a long journey toward competence or a lack of self-awareness.

On his self-named podcast, Nicholas Gregoriades starts off our episode sharing his own struggles with resolving conflict effectively and the consequences of not pushing out a bad business partner, among other personal examples.

Nic’s familiarity with Asian culture allows our conversation to dive a little deeper than usual. His willingness to learn more about the honor/shame paradigm opened the door for all his listeners to have a better understanding of the cultural dynamics Asians deal with that lead many to shy away from conflict (and how others use that against them).

Our conversation also covers some unique situations where forgiveness would be the only option on the table. How do you resolve conflict with someone who inflicted wounds on you but has since passed away?

Any conflict resolution framework available for download won’t fit every situation run through it (including mine). The bigger challenges involve your beliefs around conflict and your creativity in how you apply the framework to your personal situation.

Nic’s humility and openness make this an engaging listen. Check it out!
